Deanna’s Bragg Mitchell Mansion Bridal Session is one of my favorites ever! This was the last session I shot before I took a little hiatus before Finley was born, and I’m so glad it was! De is a very special person in my life and I’m so glad to finally be able to share these. It is so hard to hold on to bridal portraits for so long!

She was absolutely bathed in the November sun and it really couldn’t have been a more beautiful afternoon. This was just days after a hurricane and we were actually dodging a yard crew during this session, they were cleaning up the Bragg’s beautiful yard! The Bragg Mitchell Mansion is a really special place to me so being able to take her bridal portraits here was so fun.

Deanna looked so stunning in her dress. The belt she is wearing is the same belt her sister (who happens to be my bestie) on her wedding day. One Deanna’s wedding day we took pictures of Maegan putting the belt on her, so special! I had already taken Deanna and Josh’s engagement pictures, but seeing her in her dress was such a reality check. She was about to be a married woman! It has been such an honor to be a part of this really special time for De and her family.

Deanna’s mom Alesia met us there and she was an excellent veil tosser! I always love when brides bring along someone special to their bridal sessions, it feels like we are kicking off the celebration of the upcoming wedding.
