The Izenstone wedding venue was the perfect place for Aaron and Courtney’s incredible wedding day!

We shot Aaron and Courtney’s engagement session in downtown Fairhope, Alabama and The Grand Hotel in Point Clear. Since then I have formed the sweetest friendship with them and shooting their wedding day was such a joy for me! Rescheduling their wedding day last Spring was tough, so I was ready to celebrate them in July!

Weddings at Izenstone are always so calm and smooth, and this day was no different. The guys were playing darts and enjoying a slow start to the events of the day, and the girls were listening to music while putting the finishing touches on hair and makeup. The atmosphere in Courtney’s bridal suite was hard to beat!

Some of my favorite parts of their day:

-Two of Courtney’s bridesmaids were previous brides of mine! She was surrounded by the most incredible group of women. It’s always so good to see former couples at weddings!

-Courtney had so many personal details on her wedding day, the most special of which was a locket tied to her bouquet with her dad’s picture in it.

-Courtney’s cousin Allie (one of my former brides) asked to put Courtney’s veil on just like Courtney did for Allie. I love that Allie remembered that moment from her own wedding day and wanted to recreate that with Courtney.

-The weather was a little uncertain on their wedding day and Courtney really wanted to get married at the outside chapel at Izenstone. Sarabeth’s Florist had done an incredible job on the arch and I was so hoping the weather would hold off. The team at Izenstone wedding venue went above and beyond to make sure Courtney and Aaron could say I Do outside, just like Courtney wanted.

Aaron and Courtney, it has been an absolute JOY to be a part of your engagement and wedding day. I can’t imagine a more deserving couple to be celebrated!
