The Baker family welcomed baby Liam to there home in Mobile, Alabama, and this newborn photographer absolutely swooned over every detail.

Parents Taylor and Samuel were ecstatic for their little guy to be born, and to be honest, so was I! I have known Taylor for as long as I can remember. We both attended Mobile Christian School. We were also camp counselors together, and I love her dearly.

I am excited to see Taylor shifting so seamlessly into motherhood with Samuel and Liam. Liam’s full name is William Samuel, named for Taylor’s father and his own father. I love a callback to family names!

It’s easy to see how in love these parents are with their little boy, and it makes me so happy to see. It reminds me of when we brought home our own little boy. We felt so much nervous excitement for our newest family member!

And you can tell how excited they are––just look at that nursery! I can’t imagine all the careful details that were put into making it look as good as it does. I love everything about it. That deep green and all those wood details, and I adore that sign with Liam’s name on it. It’s a truly magazine-worthy space, and it looks great on a Pinterest board too! I know it will be a favorite of Ellen Talbot Imaging forever.

One of my favorite parts of this day was how proud Samuel was and excited he was for Liam’s photographs. He is a big duck hunter, and you can scroll to see all the little details he included for me to photograph, like the little gun and the ducks too. I know one day Liam will be grown and duck hunting with Samuel, and they will look back on these pictures and remember this is what Samuel dreamed about.

This newborn photographer was so excited to meet sweet, little Liam, and to catch up with old friends for this session. Congrats to the happy family!
