The Elizabeth in Grand Bay (Mobile, Alabama) was the perfect setting for this beautiful wedding day. Sunny and Allie’s December wedding was one for the books! Dusty blue bridesmaids’ dresses and bold red florals were the perfect winter wedding palette and the velvet table runners were gorgeous!
I had been to The Elizabeth a few times before their wedding day (once was to shoot Allie’s bridal portraits!) but it really is incredible how it transforms for a wedding day! The Elizabeth wedding venue is such a hidden gem in Mobile, Alabama!
The ceremony was held in the planted pines and I loved the draping they did, it was stunning and so romantic! The minister did a wonderful job setting the tone during their ceremony and it really was so personal and genuine. One of my favorite things he said was, “Marriage is what you make it.” and I totally agree! Sunny and Allie are such a sweet couple and I know they are ready to create a life together.
After their ceremony their guests were ready to dance the night away! Ali and I had the best time celebrating with this crew. Sunny and Allie had one the most EPIC cake cuttings/smashings I’ve ever seen in my life, it was hilarious and they were out for blood.
One of my most favorite moments was when a guest at the wedding showed Allie pictures of her wedding, and it was Allie as her flower girl! You can see pictures of this sweet moment below, I loved she brought those pictures with her to the wedding.
We finished the night with a sparkler sendoff, the perfect end to the perfect day. Sunny and Allie jetted off to Hawaii the next day as husband and wife, now THAT is how you celebrate your new marriage!
Sunny and Allie, it was my honor to be your wedding photographer! Love you guys so much!
