Cole and Sara’s Springhill College engagement session has me so excited for their spring wedding!

I love this couple so much, and they were so much fun to photograph. I honestly feel like we’re best friends because I love tuning into Sara’s Instagram stories to see where they’re trying new food at some cool restaurant, or the couple is at church together, which warms my heart! It’s so obvious that they are so in love, and they have the sweetest chemistry!

The Interview

• I need to know, how did you meet?
  We are both in the construction industry, and we met at a networking event. Then a few nights later we ran into each other at the Flora-Bama! We’ve been inseparable ever since!
  
• What were the first things you remember noticing about each other?
  Cole is 6’6”, so he stands out in every crowd! Cole says he noticed my blonde hair and blue eyes. I was also wearing a white shirt, and he said it stood out for some reason!
  
• What did you do on your first date?
  We went to dinner at Cobalt. He wore Chacos and I later learned he didn’t even have on clean shorts… How I fell in love with this guy I really don’t know!
  
• When you did you know you wanted to spend forever together?
  For both of us it was Memorial Day weekend of last year. We spent the whole weekend hanging out and went to a Thomas Rhett concert. For me it was when he embraced me fangirling the whole concert and when I saw Hannah B from The Bachelorette in person!
  
• What’s your favorite thing to do together?
  Go try new places to eat, go to the gym, go to the beach, and just spending time together being lazy on the couch.
  
• How did you propose? Proposal stories are my FAVORITE!
  Planned a date to the Grand Hotel in Fairhope and didn’t tell her where we were going. Then I got to the spot where her friend was hiding with a camera and got down on one knee. It was golden hour and the perfect lighting, according to Sara.
  
• You’re getting married! Describe your perfect wedding day in a few words.
  Elegant and a beautiful setting, getting to spend quality time just the two of us (ideally after the first look), and having fun at the reception with those who came out to celebrate us.
  
• Is there anything else that’s important I need to know about you as a couple? I’m all ears! 
  We love to laugh and will pick on each other as much as we get the chance, and most importantly we love Jesus with our whole hearts and work everyday to put Him at the center of our relationship.
