This Bragg-Mitchell Mansion bridal session in Mobile, Alabama was the absolute perfect day.

Abigail and her now-husband, Jacob, fell victim to wedding postponement season last spring, but they were able to tie the knot in June of 2020, and what a day it was! You can see all the photos from their wedding here!

After their wedding was rescheduled from April to June, it was so fun to finally see her in her dress! And wow, what a dress! My favorite tidbit about this simple, chic gown is that Abigail and her mom flew up to New York City to shop for dresses.

I think that big city style shows through really well in Abigail’s dress, and I was so glad to get the opportunity to photograph it! I love how elegant it looks at the Bragg-Mitchell, too.

Abigail chose to wear a veil in a few pictures, which you can see below. It also has a special story, which I love. This veil belonged to her mom, and she wore it on her wedding day (and in a fun photo below!).

Something else I love that Abigail did was leave her hair down. I know many brides love a fancy updo, and I have to admit that I am also partial to an ornate hairstyle. But I love the soft curls Abigail chose and the simple headband. It was the perfect look for her bridal session.

Abigail was such a fun-loving bride, and every minute I got to spend with her got me so excited for her wedding day!
