Crews + Isabelle made my day when they met this Fairhope, AL photographer for their engagement pictures at the Grand Hotel.

Right now I am just casually sitting here wondering how many nice things I can squeeze into this post. It’s no secret that I absolutely love this couple. It was a true honor to shoot this engagement session because Crews and Isabelle are some of the most genuine, heartfelt, good-natured people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Not to mention, a few years ago, I shot Crews’s sister’s wedding, so we got to take a little trip down memory lane while also looking forward to the next wedding this May! I adore Crews’s family so much from getting to know them through that wedding, and I just cannot wait to meet Isabelle’s and get to know her family too.

We shot this session at the Grand Hotel in Fairhope, AL, one of my favorite places to shoot. It is classy, Southern, and elegant. And rain or shine, it makes for a beautiful backdrop for all the love between couples. This day was a beautiful, bright day. The way the sun hits the moss at the Grand warms this Southern girl’s heart. It is one of my absolute favorite things about this spot.

I do many sessions at the Grand, but that’s because there is no shortage of picturesque landscape! Every session comes out totally unique to the couple and works well for nearly every color scheme too.
