These bridal portraits at the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach, AL are some of my all-time favorites.

Katie is one of the sweetest brides I have ever worked with. She is an elementary teacher through and through, the kind of person you want in your corner. She is a genuine person, a great friend, and the most beautiful bride.

So maybe you remember her engagement that was very similar in nature. She and her then fiance had some of the sweetest responses in their interview. And her dress too! Holy moly, she is gorgeous, and this dress was absolutely made for her. It’s equal parts dainty and show-stopping, the same words I might use to describe Katie. She and this dress fit together so well. She found her dress at a Gulf Coast favorite, Bliss Bridal.

We met in Orange Beach, AL at the Coastal Arts Center, as it was her wedding venue with her husband, Trevor. But I have to say that I am totally partial to this venue. It is one of my favorite places to visit and photograph.

It’s a real treat when you can enter a venue and see how thoughtfully every piece of architecture was created. The balcony on the second floor that overlooks the front of the property–and where many of these photos were taken–is one of the best, brightest spots.

I’m so glad I got to be part of this time in Katie and Trevor’s life. It was a treat to go with them from their engagement to their wedding. I can’t wait to see what comes next for them. And they are such a sweet, intentional couple, whom I have loved getting to know!
