This session in Mobile, Alabama to welcome the Bowers family’s new little love into the world made me so happy to be a newborn photographer!

Kevin, Britney, and Beau make three, and we have come a long way since they parents got married in December 2019! Remember the rehearsal dinner with Civil Axe Throwing? So fun! I loved that wedding so much, and now the Bowerses just keep getting better!

Now the Bowers family has added a third, and I was lucky enough to get to meet sweet Beau and capture these memories.

The nursery is absolutely beautiful; Britney did a great job! I am a sucker for homemade mementos, so make sure you check out the wooden framed artwork by the crib. Kevin’s grandfather created it, and it instantly caught my eye.

Similarly, the quilt Beau is laying on with the bear and balloons was sewn for Kevin by his grandmother, and the parents also curated a baby outfit of Kevin’s and two hand-sewn bibs that belonged to Kevin hanging up in Beau’s room.

And don’t you just love that hospital sign the parents turned into beautiful decor above the crib? One of my favorite Etsy shops, jwhandlettering, makes similar signs, and you can follow her on Instagram here!

Those tender, personal details make this nursery so sentimental and precious for Beau to start creating his own sweet memories.

I love watching the Bowers family grow, and Britney and Kevin have actually become dear friends of mine. I just know little Beau will find his place among the littles we convene with daily too.
