I first sat down with Matthew and Madison last Spring and immediately fell in love with them. As a couple they are so connected with each other and genuine with others, they are so easy to love! We visited over coffee one morning and just clicked. Their engagement session in the Fall was like meeting up with old friends honestly! December 1st snuck up on us, their engagement really flew by for me.
Their wedding was at Madison’s grandparents’ home in Mobile, Alabama and I can’t imagine a more stunning or personal setting for their day. The day was so centered around family and I felt like a member of the family by the time I left that night!
The flowers were surreal and just a dream. Kari Oaks of Roxy’s Garden was such a joy to work with, she is incredibly talented! The attention to detail all throughout the day really brought Madison’s perfect day to life.
Can we talk about this house for a minute?! I am still not over how gorgeous it was. BUT…Madison’s dress stole the show. She told me later it wasn’t what she had in mind when she went dress shopping but WOW. I can’t imagine her in anything else. It. was. incredible. The material, the way it fit her and moved with her…one of my favorite dresses to date.
Matthew and Madison decided to wait until the ceremony to see each other (wait until you see Matthew’s reaction!) and opted to exchange gifts beforehand separately. There were so many special moments spent with their families before the ceremony.
Madison, you are stunning. The picture of joy and deep down happiness, your love for Matthew spilled out of you the whole day. I was honored to be the one behind the camera capturing your perfection.
Here’s that good reaction I promised you! I think every person in the room felt genuinely blessed to be sharing in these moments with them.
Trust me when I say that from the moment they were announced for their first dance to the very last song the DJ played, the dancing did. not. stop. This was one of the most fun receptions I’ve ever been to! They celebrated BIG and danced the night away.
I stole them for a few minutes at the end of the night and we created some magic to finish their perfect day. Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Day everyone!
I am always thankful to work with an amazing vendor team who pulls off such incredible events down to the smallest details!
