Cole and Sara’s Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club wedding was perfection down to the last detail! They are so loved and their friends and family were so thrilled to celebrate with them!

Back in the Fall we shot their engagement session at Springhill College in Mobile! I loved getting to know them a little bit and establish a friendship. If you’d like to see their engagement session, click here!

Their original plan was to get married at Craft Farms, a sister course to the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club. Hurricane Sally took such a toll on Baldwin County so they had a venue swap to the Peninsula which was (thankfully) ready in time for their wedding day! We got to drive golf carts around which felt very official and I loved it.

Some of my favorite parts of their day:

-Sara did a first look with her bridesmaids and then again with her dad, and both were SO sweet. These moments are 100% worth the extra effort. Lots of tears were shed when all of Sara’s favorite people saw her in her dress for the first time.

-I absolutely loved how classic their day was! Black bridesmaids dresses, black tuxes, the white florals…it was all perfection.

-They got married at a golf course and their getaway car was a golf cart! Cole is a big golfer and I loved how they incorporated it, so fun!

-They had a really fun focal wall with a floral installation and a custom name sign! These are so popular right now and are such a fun and personal detail for your guests to enjoy.

-This is going to sound silly but the weather! Up until the morning of the wedding forecast was showing torrential downpours all day long. It was like the rain just completely disappeared for them because it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. I love when that happens and plan A gets to happen!

Cole and Sara, it was such a joy to be a part of your Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club wedding day! I know you had a blast in the Keys on your honeymoon and I hope you are able to relive this incredible day through your pictures for a lifetime together!
