Drew and Ashley had the most romantic wedding day in Mobile Alabama in November! They are such a special couple, I have connections to both of their families and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be a part of their day. They had to reschedule their wedding because of Covid and I wasn’t able to personally shoot their wedding day on the new date. I was due with our sweet girl the day before their wedding and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to make it. I had two very talented friends, Jennie and Ashley, shoot their Mobile, Alabama wedding for me and they did an amazing job!

We shot Drew and Ashley’s engagement session back in the Spring at Drew’s parents’ house! We got all the glowy sunset light and we had so much fun shooting them. Drew and Ashley will also be building a house across the pond from Drew’s parents and I LOVE that we got to shoot there. It will be neat to look back on these pictures one day, where it all started!

Jennie and Ashley both described their wedding day as very relaxed. They got married at Graceland, a private property in Semmes, and it was the perfect setting for their beautiful day. The sun was out and they were surrounded by all the most important people in their lives.

Some of our favorite moments:

• Ashley’s mom is a wedding planner in our area and did all the florals for the wedding! I think it’s so neat when family can be directly involved with the special details on a wedding day.

• Drew and Ashley were originally supposed to get married in May and had to reschedule for November. They decided to go ahead and get married on their original date, they were ready for their life together and I love that. Ashley was actually pregnant on their wedding day! I am so thrilled for them!
• They had a second line that led them and their guests to the buffet! I think second lines are so fun and such a neat addition to a wedding experience.
• Family was a big part of their day! Their families were present for their first look, their bridal party was fully of siblings and parents, and their daughter along with all their sweet nieces and nephews were in the wedding party. I love when families get a front row seat on these special days! Ashley took some really sweet pictures of the flower girls all twirling their big dresses, so cute!

Congratulations to Drew and Ashley! The most perfect day for a sweet couple!
